U Dobřenských

Pivovar U Dobřenských

One of the newest Prague breweries called U Dobřenských was opened in the street of the same name in 2015. The brewery needed to stand out and be a bit different. That's why they specialize in herb beers (herb ales). The main speciality is Tribulus Beer 14°. It is an ale brewed with a plant called Tribulus terrestris. This herb is often used in medicine and has an effect on testosterone.

The second beer that you can try all year round is called Salvia Stout 14°. It contains, as you have probably guessed, Salvia officinalis (common sage). During the year you can try some other beers that are brewed seasonally, i.e. Lemongrass Ale 11° (with Cymbopogon citratus), Mentha Ale 11° (with Peppermint), Melissa Ale 11° (containing lemon balm) or Hippophae Ale 11°.

The brewery has its own restaurant. You can also take a look at the small brewhouse that is situated in the restaurant. You can find the U Dobřenských brewery in the Prague’s center, very close to Bethlehem Chapel and even closer to Pražský most u Valšů brewery. Just watch out for the opening hours. The brewery usually opens at 2 PM.
